Tour of Oman 2019 Prediction

Final Forecast Tour of Oman 2019

It has been a bit quiet the past weeks. But that’s because of a reason. We’ve been working hard on expanding the features that we use for the race predictions and the set of races that we focus on. For the rest of the season we will aim to also publish a ‘Zweeler poule forecast’ for every HC race on the calendar. Our first test is the Tour of Oman that starts on February 16, 2019.

If you have seen other predictions, you should know the drill. If you are new it is important to keep in mind that the predictions below are based on Zweeler points. This means that we train our models with Zweeler points and also get them as outputs. However, the Zweeler points are quite a good general approximation for most cycling poules. Points are awarded for ending up in the top 20 of a stage. The first place is good for 35 points, the twentieth spot yields just 1 point. Points scored as overall winner (separate prediction) are not included. Don’t forget that it is wise to combine these cycling predictions with your own insights.
